What is an "ibrary"

ibrary:  i for information, text or digital.  A place, space building or environment where both text and digital information are readily available and easily accessible.  It is a "21st Century" library.  It is an environment that promotes digital age information literacy and knowledge, and provides easy access for all. 
 
What is an "ibrarian"

ibrarian: An ibrarian is the information literacy specialist, with traditional book skills but also rich in digital literacy skills. The ibrarian teaches and promotes the use of both text and digital resources by all and acts as the gateway and portal to information.

ibrary Specs

Ideally, an ibrary in a school environment should be able to accommodate a one to one ratio of students to computers, complete with a large presentation screen, wired and wireless internet access.  The ibrary hosts all the traditional books as well.
